Seoul Offers Korean Language Classes Tailored for Foreign Residents

The city of Seoul is operating Korean language classes tailored for foreigners residing here.

Available at 14 city-run centers, the classes last from three to six months. They have proved popular among foreigners as the lectures reflect students' overall Korean proficiency levels and the nature of their stay here.
Among the courses are a storybook narration class designed for parents and children from multicultural families, and a beginner's class for those who know little to nothing about the Korean language.

There are also programs for foreigners who married a Korean, and for those preparing for the Korean language proficiency test. Another is tailored for the city's growing population of Mongolians.

Those wishing to enroll should contact the center in charge of the relevant program.
