Big Bang puts name to clothing line

Super trendy K-pop group Big Bang is showcasing its first-ever fashion line.

The boy band designed T-shirts and jackets, as well as smartphone and laptop accessories in collaboration with 10 CORSO COMO SEOUL, a lifestyle concept store which sells fashion items by various, usually foreign, designers.

“We hope to become Asia’s fashion mecca and Seoul’s landmark by collaborating with Big Bang, who are today’s fashion icons and the core of hallyu (the Korean wave). We plan to start a new fashion trend in Korea as well as introduce foreign brands,” said 10 CORSO COMO SEOUL in a press statement.

The key motif of the limited edition items by the group is a skull. Their offbeat ideas shine in these items, such as the baseball jacket which the wearer can customize by adding or taking off different badges.

All Big Bang members are big fans of the shop and they enthusiastically participated in the project, according to the press release. They discussed everything to the smallest details, even the store display, with their stylist.

The limited edition collection by Big Bang will be available at 10 CORSO COMO SEOUL located in Cheongdam-dong, southern Seoul, starting Thursday.
